Accessibility at Sun Drop.

We believe our site should be usable by everyone. Here's what we're doing — and what we're still working on.

Last updated: April 2026
Our Commitment

Everyone should be able to shop here.

At Sun Drop, we believe a website should work for as many people as possible — regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology. We're a small brand and we're not perfect, but we take this seriously and we're actively improving.

This page explains what we've built, what we're working toward, and how you can reach us if something isn't working.

Standards We Follow

What we aim for.

Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These are the internationally recognized standards for making web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

01

Perceivable

Information is presented in ways users can perceive — readable text, image alternatives, sufficient color contrast.

02

Operable

Every feature works with a keyboard, not just a mouse. Nothing requires a specific input device to use.

03

Understandable

Content reads clearly, forms have clear labels, and the interface behaves predictably from page to page.

04

Robust

The site is built with clean, standards-based code that works with assistive technologies like screen readers.

What We've Built

Features already in place.

Here's what we've done to make the site more accessible:

  • Semantic HTML structure — proper headings, landmarks, and navigation so screen readers understand the page layout
  • Keyboard navigation — you can reach every interactive element using Tab, Enter, and arrow keys without a mouse
  • Descriptive alt text on product and brand imagery so screen readers can describe visuals
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG AA for text and interactive elements
  • Responsive design that works on screens from phone to desktop, and scales with browser zoom up to 200%
  • Clear form labels on the contact form so fields are identifiable by assistive tech
  • Focus indicators on interactive elements so keyboard users know where they are
  • Skip-to-content link (press Tab as soon as the page loads) to bypass repetitive navigation
What We're Still Working On

Honesty about the gaps.

We won't pretend to be perfectly accessible — we're a small brand still catching up. Known areas we're actively improving:

  • Some decorative animations could be distracting for users with motion sensitivity — we're adding a reduced-motion preference that respects your browser's settings
  • Full screen-reader audit of all pages is ongoing — if you find a section that's confusing or broken, please tell us
  • The scrolling marquee banner will soon include a pause option for users who need it
Compatible Technology

Tools that work with our site.

We've designed the site to work with modern browsers and assistive technologies. For the best experience, we recommend:

  • Browsers: Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (Mac/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Operating systems: Windows 10+, macOS 10.15+, iOS 14+, Android 10+

If you're using older software, some features may not work as expected. Let us know if you run into issues.

Third-Party Content

A note about external sites.

Our "Shop on Amazon" links take you to Amazon's product pages. We don't control Amazon's site, but Amazon maintains its own accessibility standards. If you encounter accessibility issues on Amazon's site, they can be reported to Amazon directly.

Found a Problem?

If you experience an accessibility barrier on our site — something confusing, broken, or hard to use — we want to know.

Email scot@sundroplife.com with the page you were on and what happened. We read every message and take this feedback seriously.

We're Listening

Tell us where we can do better.

Every piece of accessibility feedback directly shapes the next version of this site. Small brand, real commitment — we mean it.
